Real Living, Inc. is the fourth-largest residential real estate company in the United States. It has nearly 4,000 agents and employees, $8.4 billion in annual sales and more than 130 offices throughout 12 states. Real Living is based in Columbus, Ohio.

In 2002, Harley E. Rouda, Jr. merged Columbus-based HER Realtors with publicly-traded Realty One, in Cleveland, Ohio, to form Real Living, Inc.

Real Living now has real estate franchise offices in California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Company-owned offices include HER Real Living, in Columbus, Realty One Real Living, in Cleveland, and Real Living Realty Services, in Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio.

In 2005, Inman News recognized Real Living as the “Most Innovative Brokerage” with the Inman Innovator Award. Entrepreneur Magazine ranked Real Living No. 23 in the Top 50 Best New Franchises for 2006. They were ranked No. 360 in the Franchise 500.
